HITACHI CESAR ECV TRAINING EVENTHITACHI CONTINUES ITS COMMITMENT TO CESAR ECV WITH DATATAG ID TRAINING EVENT

Onsite with Hitachi Construction Machinery (UK) Hebburn, Tyne and Weir, our very own Datatag ID Ltd team Vincent Lane and Rachel Hamilton, who are training 23 employees to fit CESAR ECV correctly.

Hitachi was among the first OEMs to fit the CESAR ECV scheme as standard in January 2020. The Emissions Compliance Verification (ECV) application for CESAR is the single biggest development since the scheme was launched as an anti-theft initiative in 2007. With the introduction of Low Emission Zones and “green” construction sites, there is an urgent demand for the quick identification of the certified emission levels of machines brought on to sites.

David Roberts, Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi Construction Machinery (UK) said, "Helping our customers protect and optimise their Hitachi machines is an increasingly important element of our value proposition. CESAR is not only a proven theft deterrent; the addition of the Emissions Compliance Verification gives our machines a visible and traceable identity in regard to which emission stage they comply with.”
